Russian River Valley

Chardonnay

Appellation:

Shaped by cooling fog from the Pacific Ocean, the Russian River Valley enjoys a long, even growing season, and Chardonnay thrives in the region’s alluvial soils.

Winemaking:

Fermenting the Chardonnay grapes in a combination of French, American and Hungarian oak barrels adds complexity to the variety’s rich fruit flavors.

Tasting Notes:

Indicative of its cool-climate origins, with bright acidity beneath notes of pear, apple, pineapple, apricot, nutmeg and vanilla—all framed by a richly textured palate.
